New England Donor Services is seeking an experienced Organ Donation Coordinator (ICU RN or Respiratory Therapist) to join our team. You will respond on-site to donor referrals, provide expert donor evaluation and management, and support organ allocation and recovery.

The role requires critical care experience, a nursing license or equivalent credential, and willingness to travel within New England. January 2027 intake and substantial training are included.

Qualificações

• 3-5 years clinical experience/critical care experience and a Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• CPTC Certification a plus
• Annual influenza vaccination is required for employees who work in a clinical or healthcare environment outside of NEDS facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Respond on-site to organ donor referrals to provide clinical expertise in donor evaluation, donor management, organ allocation and organ recovery.
• Educate hospital staff on the donation process and work with donor families to obtain consent for donation.
• Coordinate with multiple surgical teams and critical care staff to optimize organs for transplantation.
