Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking an energetic Full-Time Associate at our Virginia Beach location. You will assist customers with donated goods, help unload vehicles, and presort donations carefully to maintain accuracy and safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading trailers, maintaining a clean work area, and protecting company assets while delivering excellent service. Evening and weekend availability may be required; a background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• Criminal background check required.
• Evenings/weekends availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all customers, internal and external.
• Assist customers with donations by greeting donors and helping unloading their vehicle.
• Accurately presort donations by category and label donations accordingly.
• Safely, efficiently and accurately load trailers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment for safety.
• Ensure security of company assets and report suspected issues.
• Follow department policies and procedures.
• Communicate with supervisor to relay problems.
• Adhere to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Exercise sound judgment in customer interactions.
