Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Donation Attendant Store (Finance) to assist customers with donated goods and ensure safe, efficient processing.

You will pre-sort donations by category, label items, and help load trailers while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to company policies. Evening and weekend shifts may be required to support busy periods; a criminal background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
• No prior experience required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers.
• Assist donors with unloading their vehicle and pre-sorting donations by category and labeling them accordingly.
• Safely load donations into trailers and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Protect company assets and report any security concerns.
• Follow department policies and communicate with supervisors regarding issues in the donation area.
• Be available to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs dictate.
