Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a part-time Donation Center Associate in Midlothian, VA. You will greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and ensure items are sorted and loaded safely for trucks.

You will work evenings and weekends as needed, with an emphasis on courteous service, safety, and proper handling of goods, while following all Goodwill policies and procedures. No prior experience required, but a High School diploma or GED is preferred, and you must pass a

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers.
• Assist donors with unloading their vehicle and avoid damage.
• Accurately presort donations by category and label accordingly.
• Safely load trailers.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Report security issues or theft promptly.
• Follow department policies and procedures.
• Communicate with supervisor about problems in the donation area.
• Adhere to dress code and hygiene standards.
• Exercise sound judgment in dealings with customers.
