Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience at our Mesa, AZ location. You’ll receive and process donations, assist customers, and help maintain a clean, organized store and production room.

Responsibilities include labeling and receipts, safety checks, floor care, and cross-training. This role supports loading/unloading, uses pallet jacks and walkie stackers, and upholds our core values in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Labels Gaylords correctly.
• Ensures receipts are offered to each donor.
• Inquires about hazardous donations and directs disposal to customers.
• Writes up sales tickets and sold signs for furniture and large items.
• Assists customers with loading/unloading furniture or items to/from vehicles.
• Maintains merchandise placement and production room organization per PPM standards.
• Assists in loading/unloading onto/off trucks or trailers.
• Safely operates pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conducts daily safety inspections on equipment and follows safety rules.
• Performs floor care when needed.
• Cross trains in other store positions as needed.
• Maintains regular in-person attendance.
