Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona seeks a team member to lead donation processing and customer service at a Goodyear store. You will handle donations, label items, issue receipts, and assist customers with loading furniture while maintaining clean, organized spaces.

Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks, performing safety inspections, cross-training, and upholding Goodwill Core Values. Starting pay is $15.15 hourly, with comprehensive benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations and provide outstanding customer service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Provide receipts to donors for all donations.
• Identify hazardous items and guide disposal to customers.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization.
• Assist in loading/unloading onto trucks as needed.
• Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and follow safety rules.
• Provide floor care at the retail store as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
