Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring for a Store Team member who leads an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales. You will receive donations, label items, assist customers with loading, and keep the production room organized per standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.
• Forklift operation may be required as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Labeling Gaylords correctly.
• Ensures a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Inquires about hazardous products and provides disposal locations.
• Writes up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assists customers with loading and unloading furniture or other items.
• Maintains merchandise placement and production room organization per PPM standards.
• Assists in loading/unloading onto/off trucks or trailers.
• Safely operates pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Performs daily safety inspections on equipment and adheres to safety rules.
• Cross-trains in other store positions as needed.
• Provides regular in-person attendance and embodies Goodwill values.
