Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is seeking a store teammate to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, receive donations promptly, label items, and help customers on the sales floor. Starting pay is $15.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Offer receipts to donors for all donations.
• Identify hazardous material and direct proper disposal.
• Write sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture and items.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization.
• Assist with loading/unloading onto trucks or trailers as needed.
• Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely.
• Perform daily safety inspections on equipment.
• Follow safety rules and use appropriate PPE.
• Provide floor care as needed at retail store.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
