Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is seeking a store team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales. You will receive donations, label items, and assist customers with loading items.

The role requires forklift certification and strong customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. Starting pay is $15.15 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical plans, dental and vision, a 401(k), paid time off, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Offer receipts to donors regardless of donation size.
• Identify hazardous donations and advise disposal locations to customers.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture or items to/from vehicles.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per PPM standards.
• Assist in loading/unloading merchandise on/off trucks or trailers as needed.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Provide floor care duties at the retail store as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as business needs.
