Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in El Mirage, AZ is seeking a store team member to deliver an excellent customer and brand experience while receiving donations and placing items in the correct locations in the production room or sales floor. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, forklift certification readiness, English proficiency, and the ability to work 18 years or older.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Labeling Gaylords correctly.
• Ensure a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Provide disposal guidance for hazardous items when donated.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading items to/from vehicles.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per PPM standards.
• Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and conduct daily equipment safety checks.
