Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, handling donations and helping sales growth at our Apache Junction store. You will ensure receipts, label items, and assist customers with loading and unloading.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Ensure a receipt is offered to each donor.
• Inquire about hazardous items and provide disposal locations.
• Write up sales tickets and sold signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading furniture or other items.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per PPM standards.
• Assist in loading/unloading onto/off trucks or trailers.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and follow safety rules.
• Provide floor care at a retail store as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.
