Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a store team member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales. You will receive donations, label items, provide receipts, and assist customers with loading or unloading goods in Tempe, AZ.

The role requires English proficiency, being 18+, and passing a background check and drug screen. A comprehensive Total Rewards package is offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Labeling Gaylords accurately.
• Offer receipts to donors for all donations.
• Inform donors about hazardous products and disposal locations.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture or other items.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per PPM standards.
• Assist in loading/unloading merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and follow safety rules.
• Provide floor care duties at a retail store as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance.
