Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Store Team Member to lead an excellent customer and brand experience while promoting sales. You will receive donations expediently, label items, provide receipts, and assist with loading and unloading. The role requires forklift certification and English proficiency.

Starting pay is $15.15 per hour. Benefits include medical plans, dental plans, vision, 401(k) options, life insurance, EAP, paid time off, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Provide receipts to donors.
• Inquire about hazardous donations and guide disposal.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading to/from vehicles.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization per standards.
• Assist in loading/unloading onto/off trucks or trailers as needed.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Perform daily safety inspections on equipment and follow safety rules.
• Provide floor care at the store as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
