Goodwill Industries Of Dallas is seeking an entry-level Donation Processor in Dallas, TX to greet customers and process donations under supervision. You will assist donors, issue receipts, and keep the stockroom organized while maintaining a friendly store environment.

Key duties include sorting donations, pricing where needed, and helping co-workers with lifting items, while following safety guidelines and store policies.

Formación

• Knowledge of textile articles related to garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsabilidades

• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
• Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts; assist customers with lifting items.
• Sort donations into proper carts or bins and determine the quality.
• Sort and price hard goods.
• Keep the production area clean and safe.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and dress code.
• Provide general information to customers/donors.
• Assist processors when needed.
• Follow CPSC procedures and other Public Protection Guidelines.
• React calmly and respond to emergency situations.
• Refer all customer/donor complaints to management in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
