Sydney's Leawood is seeking a Front Desk Associate to greet pet parents and pups, manage check-ins/check-outs, and support grooming and daycare operations in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

You’ll handle payments, bookings, and inquiries with warmth and professionalism, contributing to a welcoming, organized lobby and seamless client experience. Weekend/evening availability is appreciated.

Qualifications

• Love for dogs and strong hospitality focus.
• Clear written and verbal communication with good phone etiquette.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Calm, solutions-oriented mindset in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort with phones, computers, and POS systems.
• Comfortable interacting with dogs of all sizes.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods and move across areas.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Reception experience in veterinary, hotel, or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for guests, greeting pet parents and pups.
• Check pets in/out, manage profiles, and process payments accurately.
• Answer phones with professional etiquette and efficiency.
• Support grooming team by communicating service details and scheduling.
• Inform clients about services, products, and updates relevant to stays.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming front desk and lobby.
• Keep daily notes for team communication.
• Conduct opening/closing procedures and cleaning protocols.
• Assist with daycare play groups and kennel areas as needed.
• Contribute to culture and hospitality across the team.
