Job summary

Digs Dog Care in Hudson, WI seeks a Front Desk Associate to greet pet parents and pups with warmth, manage check-in/check-out, and support grooming and daycare coordination. This role blends hospitality, organization, and a love for dogs in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll handle phone calls, profile updates, and payments while ensuring a clean, welcoming lobby and clear communication across the team. Weekend/evening availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Genuine love for dogs and hospitality.
• Strong written and verbal communication with phone etiquette.
• Highly organized with attention to detail; multi-tasking ability.
• Calm, solutions-oriented mindset in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort using phones, computers, and POS systems.
• Ability to interact with dogs of varying sizes and temperaments.
• Stand or sit for extended periods; move between areas.
• Lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Reception experience in veterinary, hotel, or hospitality is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for guests, greeting pet parents and pups.
• Check pets in/out, manage and update profiles, and process payments.
• Answer phones promptly with professional etiquette.
• Support grooming by communicating service details and scheduling.
• Inform pet parents about services, products, and updates.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming front desk and lobby.
• Keep daily notes for team communication.
• Conduct opening/closing procedures and cleaning protocols.
• Assist with daycare play groups and kennel areas as needed.
• Contribute to culture and hospitality across the team.
