Paws & Claws Hudson is seeking a Front Desk Associate to be the friendly face for pet parents and their dogs. This role blends hospitality, organization, and a love for animals, setting the welcoming tone from check-in to check-out.

You will greet guests, manage check-ins, handle payments, coordinate with grooming, keep notes, maintain a tidy lobby, and support daycare. A flexible weekend/evening schedule helps you grow toward supervisory roles within Digs Dog Care.

Qualifications

• Genuine love for dogs and hospitality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with phone etiquette.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting with a solutions mindset.
• Proficient with phones, computers, and POS systems.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Reception experience in veterinary, hotel, or hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and pups warmly at check-in.
• Check in/out pets, update profiles, and process payments.
• Answer phones professionally with good etiquette.
• Coordinate with grooming team and manage appointments.
• Inform clients about services and updates.
• Keep front desk and lobby organized and welcoming.
• Maintain clear daily notes for team communication.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and cleaning.
• Assist with daycare and kennel areas as needed.
