Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations/Activations Network Engineer to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) capabilities at Scott AFB, Illinois. The role covers installation oversight, configuration, testing, and activation of networks for DoD projects, ensuring adherence to DISA standards.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance; a BS degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience (or a Master’s with less than 2 years) and strong knowledge of BGP/ISIS,

Qualifications

BS degree or higher with 2–4 years of related experience, or Master’s with less than 2 years of related experience.
Active Secret clearance required.
Experience with DoD/ DISA networks and fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Oversee installation, configuration, testing, monitoring and activation of network services for DISA projects.
Coordinate with customers, architects and SMEs to implement changes and resolve issues.
Manage Service Orders and TSOs in accordance with Change Management.
Configure network devices and validate requirements across DISN.
Engage with project managers and customers to resolve unclear requirements and obtain approvals.
