Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations/Activations Network Engineer at Scott AFB, IL to oversee installation, configuration, testing, monitoring and activation of networks for DoD DISA-supported services. The role requires U.S.

citizenship and an active Secret clearance. You will coordinate IT&A activities, work with customers and vendors, manage service orders, configure devices, monitor traffic, and ensure compliance with DISA standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, or a Masters with less experience.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, VRF.
• Experience with network devices (routers, load balancers, firewalls).
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT&A and new service activations per DISA standards.
• Collaborate with customers, solution architects and SMEs to implement changes.
• Manage Service Orders per Change Management procedures.
• Ensure TSOs are accurate for scheduled network changes.
• Configure network devices using configlets.
• Analyze DISN data to validate requirements.
• Design and implement technical solutions with testing and documentation.
• Coordinate circuit activations with vendors for end-to-end connectivity.
• Monitor networks to assess impact on traffic.
• Use systems analysis to determine hardware or software needs.
• Engage DISA project managers to resolve unclear requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder approvals to progress service requests.
