Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer to support DISA network activations at Scott AFB, IL. The role involves overseeing installation, configuration, testing, monitoring, and servicing of network equipment for DoD projects, with a requirement for an active Secret clearance.

You will configure out-of-band management networks, upgrade Cisco/Juniper devices, and work with project managers to ensure accurate POC, location, and interface data, while adhering to DISA standards and

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance is required.
DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
Experience with network hardware specs, configuration, testing, and industry standards.
Familiarity with DISA processes and DoD protocols.

Responsibilities

Assist with IT&A and data input for new network activations to conform with DISA standards.
Configure and maintain DISA's out-of-band management network (Cisco/Juniper).
Upgrade software on Cisco and Juniper devices.
Create IP addressing schemes and port assignments for management nodes.
Perform systems analysis to determine hardware/software requirements.
Verify POC, location, and interface accuracy per requirements.
Confirm correct POC for locations traversed by circuits.
Engage project managers to resolve unclear requirements.
Coordinate with stakeholders to advance service requests.
