Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer at Scott AFB, IL to oversee installation, configuration, testing, and activation of DoD DISN network services. You will coordinate IT&A activities, manage out-of-band networks, and upgrade Cisco and Juniper devices to meet DISA standards.

The role requires DoD experience, a Secret clearance, and BS degree with 2–4 years of relevant work. Expect collaboration with DISA project managers and customers to drive timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher with relevant experience.
• Active DoD security clearance is required (Secret).
• Experience with DoD DISA standards and network activations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers for IT&A and data input for new network activations.
• Configure and maintain DISA out-of-band management networks (Cisco/Juniper).
• Upgrade software on Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Develop IP addressing schemes and port allocations for sites.
• Perform systems analysis to determine hardware/software requirements.
• Verify POC, location and interface data are accurate.
• Engage project managers to resolve unclear requirements.
• Facilitate approvals to keep service requests moving forward.
