Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer at Scott AFB, IL to oversee installation, testing, and activation of DoD network services. You will coordinate IT&A, configure DISA’s out-of-band management, and ensure accurate POC data and site details.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE or equivalent), and 2–4 years of related experience. GSMO contract provides mission-focused work and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of network hardware equipment specs, configurations and testing.
• Experience in network engineering, problem management and performance management.
• Knowledge of networking architecture and evaluating new technologies to enhance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers on IT&A and reporting functions for new network activations.
• Configure and maintain DISA out-of-band management networks (Cisco/Juniper).
• Upgrade software on Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Create/update IP addressing schemes and port assignments for management nodes.
• Perform systems analysis to determine hardware/software requirements.
• Ensure correct POC data and location formatting per requirements.
• Verify POCs for circuits traversed.
• Engage with DISA project managers to resolve unclear requirements.
• Facilitate approvals to progress service requests.
