Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer for Scott AFB, IL. This role oversees installation, configuration, testing, monitoring, and activation of DoD network equipment and services, ensuring compliance with DISA standards.

Qualifications include DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 security (Security+ CE or equivalent), an active Secret clearance, and 2–4 years of relevant experience. BS degree required; U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of network hardware specifications, configuration and testing.
• Experience in network services (BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, VRF).
• Active Secret clearance required and DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Perform installation oversight, configuration, testing, monitoring, and activation of networks for DoD projects.
• Configure and maintain out-of-band management network (Cisco/Juniper) with baseline configurations.
• Upgrade software on Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Develop IP addressing schemes and port assignments for management nodes.
• Collaborate with project managers and customers to resolve ambiguous requirements.
• Ensure accurate POC, location, and interface data for circuits.
