Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team on site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on crafting RMF A&A packages, continuous monitoring, and testing to secure advanced systems while maintaining compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, have experience with Navy combat systems, and be able to communicate effectively across teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering with Navy systems or five years general security engineering.
• Two of the five years on Navy afloat tactical systems; IAT II/III certification when acting as ISSO/ISSE.
• Understanding DoD cybersecurity policies for land and afloat systems and clear communication of them.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity AAA artifacts and related documentation.
• Perform vulnerability testing using ACAS and manual methods.
• Lead ISSO responsibilities for security matters on assigned systems.
• Apply DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations to ensure compliance.
• Develop cybersecurity requirements, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
