Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to work on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and test systems to secure cutting-edge platforms. Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Preferred candidates have DoD cyber policies knowledge, IAT II/III certification, and experience with Navy combat systems. This role anticipates December 2026 funding and offers a substantial compensation package.

Qualifications

• Two years program specific security engineering experience.
• Two of five years of engineering on Navy afloat systems (Aegis/SSDS/Zumwalt).
• IAT Level II or III per DoD 8570.01 or successor for ISSO/ISSE.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document system from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Office tools.
• Derive system CONOPS for Mission Assurance per DoDI 8500.2.
• Research and recommend solutions to achieve certification and accreditation.
• Apply STIGs and NSA recommendations.
• Identify gaps between built specs, security requirements and DoD policies.
