Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on crafting RMF A&A packages, continuous monitoring, and system testing to secure advanced combat systems.

An Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Candidates should have DoD cybersecurity experience, DoD policy knowledge, and the ability to document and present security artifacts clearly.

Qualifications

• Two years program specific security engineering experience or five years general security engineering experience.
• Two of the five years on Combat Weapons Systems experience (Aegis/SSDS/Zumwalt).
• Certified as IAT Level II or III per DoD 8570.01.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document a system from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Word/Excel/Visio.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Lead as ISSO for security matters related to information systems.
• Apply STIGs and DISA guidance to systems.
