Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team on site at NSWC Dahlgren, Virginia. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and test systems to support cutting-edge DoD combat systems.

This role requires an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship. Experience with DoD security policies, certifications, and MS Office tools is preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Two years of Navy-focused security engineering or five years general security engineering experience.
• IAT Level II or III certification required for ISSO/ISSE roles.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, Visio, and related tools.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Conduct vulnerability testing using manual techniques and IA tools (ACAS).
• Lead as ISSO for security matters related to information systems.
• Develop cybersecurity requirements, standards, guidance, and procedures for combat systems.
