Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team, on site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct system testing to secure DoD systems.

This role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD cybersecurity experience. Preferred candidates hold IAT II/III, CASP/SEC+/CISSP certified, and a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• IAT Level II/III certification or equivalent when performing ISSO/ISSE duties.
• Experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or related security engineering.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies for land and afloat systems.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document a system from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word/Excel/Visio.
• Apply STIGs and DISA guidance to systems under assessment.
• Plan, execute, and document risk assessments for known vulnerabilities.
• Lead ISSO activities and be the focal point for security matters on information systems.
