Job summary

Serco seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for its CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA. The role focuses on test, integration and evaluation of simulation systems to support training interoperability for DoD customers around the globe.

You will collaborate with the DoD customer and Serco teams at Langley AFB and Orlando to deliver quality test services, develop CONOPS, and draft detailed test reports. An active DoD Secret clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI and SAP/SAR are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5 years of test/integration/SW development or embedded systems engineering.
• Or an Associate’s degree with 7 years of similar engineering experience.
• Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical capacity.
• Must have DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher (Security+, CySA+, CISSP).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation system integration, evaluation, and interoperability testing.
• Use industry-standard tools for test and evaluation (Wireshark, CGFs).
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures.
• Draft comprehensive test reports from integration and verification tasks.
• Assist in CONOPS and COA development for deployment of capabilities.
• Contribute to requirements reviews, training support, and basic admin tasks.
• Produce well-defined test procedures and test cases under senior guidance.
• Use Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray).
• Participate in peer reviews, test bed maintenance, and debugging.
