Serco seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for the CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA. You will test, integrate, and evaluate distributed mission systems in a large virtual battlespace, working closely with DoD customers and Serco teams at Langley AFB and Orlando. A DoD Secret clearance is required, with eligibility for TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.

You will develop test plans, draft reports, and support CONOPS development while using Atlassian tools for project tracking. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR).
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of engineering/test experience or an Associate’s degree with 7 years of engineering/test experience.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher (Security+, CySA+, CISSP) within six months.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability testing for DMON and JSE training operations.
• Use industry-standard tools for simulation test and evaluation (Wireshark, CGFs, etc.).
• Analyze network and compute performance metrics (latency, bandwidth, jitter, occupancy).
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures; draft comprehensive test reports.
• Develop CONOPS and multiple COAs for deployment of simulation capabilities.
• Assist in requirements review, training support, and basic system administration.
• Produce concise test procedures and test cases with senior guidance.
• Support program processes using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray).
• Participate in peer reviews, test bed maintenance, and debugging activities.
• Write scripts and small programs (PowerShell, Cygwin, VB) to streamline artifacts.
• Identify and solve production/non-production issues and implement changes.
