Job summary

Serco Inc. in Hampton, VA is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer for the CAF DMO 3.0 program to perform test, integration, and evaluation of simulation systems supporting large-force training in a boundless virtual environment.

You will work with the DoD customer and Serco teams at Langley AFB and Orlando, FL, delivering quality test services and maintaining DoD security clearances. The role includes developing test plans, drafting reports, and contributing to system administration tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required; ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR within six months.
• Bachelor’s or higher in a STEM field with 5+ years of engineering/test/integration experience or an Associate’s with 7+ years.
• DoD experience and ability to support DoD customers in a technical capacity.
• Familiarity with development, test and evaluation of military training or operational systems.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CISSP) within six months.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability test for DMON and JSE training operations.
• Use industry-standard tools for test and evaluation (Wireshark, CGFs, etc.).
• Analyze network and computational performance (latency, bandwidth, jitter, occupancy).
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures; draft comprehensive test reports.
• Assist in CONOPS development and multiple COAs for deployment of evaluated capabilities.
• Contribute to engineering lifecycle activities including requirements review and training support.
