Serco seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer in Hampton, VA to support CAF DMO 3.0 program testing and integration across DoD training environments. You will work with DoD customers and Serco teams at Langley and Orlando to ensure interoperability and quality test services.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance or eligibility for TS/SCI and SAP/SAR, a STEM degree with substantial engineering/test experience, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of engineering test/integration/SW development/embedded systems
• Or an Associate’s degree and 7 years of relevant engineering experience

Responsabilités

• Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability test for DMON and JSE training operations
• Use industry-standard tools for simulation test and evaluation (Wireshark, CGFs)
• Analyze network and compute performance (latency, bandwidth, jitter)
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures
• Draft comprehensive test reports from integration and verification tasks
• Develop CONOPS and multiple COAs for deployment of simulations
• Contribute to engineering life cycle activities including requirements review and training support
• Produce defined test procedures and test cases under senior engineers guidance
• Support program processes using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray)
• Participate in peer reviews, test bed maintenance, and debugging activities
• Write and maintain scripts/programs (PowerShell, Cygwin, VBScript) to automate test artifacts
• Identify production/non-production issues and implement changes
