Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Human Services is seeking a Document Relations Lead in Brainerd to oversee document routing, audits, and system efficiency for MHCP eligibility processing. You will mentor staff, resolve escalated issues, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

This full-time role requires leading a team of Document Relations Specialists, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving process improvements while telework is eligible. TD emphasis on accuracy and timely service.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience administering, assisting, enrolling, and/or servicing Minnesota Health Care Programs using eligibility systems.
• Experience with policy and the federal and state laws and regulations governing MHCP policies and enrollment operations.
• Experience researching, analyzing information, and solving problems to make independent decisions.
• Experience with eligibility systems such as METS, MAXIS, MMIS.
• Experience with document handling software and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate document routing and audit activities for MHCP eligibility processing.
• Provide lead work direction to Document Relations Specialists and mentor staff.
• Resolve complex escalated document and system issues and ensure timely service delivery.
• Bridge frontline staff and leadership to improve system efficiency and compliance with laws and policies.
