Job summary

The Minnesota State system is seeking a HR Service Center Benefits Specialist - Human Resources Specialist 2 to oversee benefits processes for employees across MnSCU institutions. You will audit HR benefit transactions, develop training resources, and ensure compliance with regulations and bargaining agreements.

Work is primarily telework with a day shift, Monday to Friday, and requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and experience in benefits administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 0–2 years HR experience or equivalent.
• Experience with health insurance plans and retirement benefits.
• Strong written communication for policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of HR Insurance and Retirement processes for MnSCU institutions.
• Audit benefits transactions and oversee training resources for HR benefits.
