RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Document Production Workflow Coordinator to deliver exceptional service by producing accurate documents for a high-volume environment. You will assess documents, spot and correct issues, and train team members on production processes.

Strong software aptitude and adherence to proofreading standards are essential. The role requires coordinating workflows, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high quality across multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with years of experience able to substitute.
• Minimum of 3 years prior office experience, proofreading, word processing or document production experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; able to troubleshoot applicable software.
• MS Office certification desired.
• Experience in business terminology, document production and proofreading formats.

Responsibilities

• Intakes work requests from the client; clarifies instructions and negotiates deadlines.
• Prioritizes work across team and coordinates multiple projects.
• Acts as a leading resource for document production, proofreading and QA.
• Identifies and corrects errors in complex business documents for quality.
• Detects formatting and compositional errors; verifies citations.
• Checks proofs against mark-up for QA.
• Ensures adherence to formatting standards and client environments.
• Trains team members on processes and new trends in document production.
• Coordinates shifts to meet client expectations for quality and timeliness.
• Communicates with manager or client on job or deadline issues.
