GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Weekend 1st Shift Yard and Dock Coordinator in Lincoln, NE. You will lead dock/yard activities, coordinate trailer movements, and collaborate with operations, safety, and customer teams to ensure safe, efficient daily dock operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a focus on safety, and strong communication skills to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position supports 7S standards and uses MS Office 365 and Google Suite for documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation-related environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong communication skills for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.

Responsabilités

• Champion operation safety and support dock equipment as required.
• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements to support daily priorities.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow following safety standards and processes.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe issues per procedures.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams daily.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders to maintain service excellence.
• Ensure dock activities align with guidelines and SWIs, and complete tasks.
• Support dock/yard organization in line with 7S standards.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify risks and delays; document issues.
• Use MS Office 365 and Google Suite to track activity and updates.
• Provide coverage and operational support to site leadership and peers.
