Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage daily dock, freight, and terminal activities at our Atlanta service center. You will drive throughput, safety, and cost control while coordinating with linehaul and delivery functions to ensure accurate data, documentation, and compliance.

The role requires 1–2 years in operations or a Bachelor’s degree, forklift certification, and strong analytical skills to improve margins and service quality in a fast-paced LTL environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with operations/logistics exposure.
• Experience in transportation, LTL, warehouse, or service center operations is preferred.
• Strong ability to supervise, train, and evaluate team members.
• Solid knowledge of safety protocols, compliance standards, and hazmat handling preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Execute dock and terminal operations with precision and safety.
• Oversee load planning, freight handling, and linehaul coordination.
• Monitor operating costs and support budget attainment through labor efficiency.
• Ensure accurate billing, payroll, and administrative processes.
