Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking an Operations Support professional in Atlanta to provide essential administrative and operational help. The role ensures inbound and outbound freight moves smoothly, docs stay accurate, and drivers stay on schedule.

You’ll coordinate with drivers, operations, customers, and internal teams, managing documentation, communication, and problem resolution to minimize delays and maintain service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of administrative, logistics, or operations support experience.
• Strong written communication in business English.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions accurately.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail with multitasking ability.
• Proven ability to communicate with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
• Proficient typing (35-40 wpm) and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily freight operations and driver check-in processes.
• Distribute manifests to dock personnel promptly.
• Coordinate administrative activities for inbound and outbound freight.
• Monitor workflow status and escalate issues affecting service levels.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance.
• Review and file Bills of Lading, Delivery Receipts, and related records.
• Data entry and record maintenance for visibility and traceability.
• Coordinate customer and delivery communications and scheduling.
• Backfill office duties during PTO or coverage gaps.
• Assist with OS&D issues and freight discrepancies as needed.
