Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Dockmaster for the weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 6:00am-6:00pm) to manage dock activities and ensure safe, efficient trailer movement in the Lithia Springs, GA facility.

The role requires coordinating dock priorities with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams, maintaining high customer service standards, and using MS Office 365 and Google Suite for documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and unloading dock activities to support daily priorities.
• Monitor dock conditions and stop-work when unsafe conditions are identified.
• Lead or support dock and yard organization in line with 7S standards.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain service quality.
• Track activity and document issues using Office or Google Suite tools.
