Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator for the Weekend 1st Shift to manage dock activities and trailer movements, ensuring safe and timely operations.

This hands-on role partners with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams while modeling accountability and service excellence. The position supports site leadership, complies with safety standards, and uses Office 365/Google Suite to document activities and communicate updates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation-related environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong communication skills with internal/external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dock activities and trailer movements to support daily priorities.
• Coordinate docking, release, and yard flow while ensuring safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe situations according to procedures.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Maintain professional communication with stakeholders and document issues.
