Job summary

Roadrunner Freight is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Cincinnati, OH to lead daily dock, freight, and terminal activities with precision and safety. The role translates network strategy into execution, optimizing load flow and maintaining cost discipline in a fast-paced LTL environment.

You will supervise frontline teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliant operations while partnering with contractors and internal teams to deliver reliable service and protect shipment integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of relevant operations or logistics experience.
• Experience in transportation, LTL, warehouse, or service center operations preferred.
• Strong supervision, training, and evaluation abilities.
• Hazmat certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dock operations including load planning and linehaul coordination.
• Monitor operating costs and improve efficiency and margin performance.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and hazardous materials handling standards.
• Coach and develop frontline teams with clear accountability.
• Coordinate with linehaul contractors, drivers, and internal teams.
