Job summary

Brunswick Corporation, a global marine leader, is seeking a Dock Experience Manager for Freedom Boat Club operations in Florida. You will lead dock staff, ensure fleet readiness with Fleetio, manage schedules and payroll, and drive member satisfaction across multiple locations while upholding safety standards.

The role requires full-time availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on delivering exceptional member and employee experiences and maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s or Vocational degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication and people skills.
• Self-starter and capable of working unsupervised.
• Managerial and diplomacy skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise all dock level personnel to ensure top service.
• Ensure dock staff have proper certifications and up-to-date training.
• Communicate and enforce SOPs and policies.
• Develop monthly dock staff schedules and review payroll.
• Travel to locations within the district to support staff and fleet readiness.
• Maintain a cooperative team attitude and drive employee engagement.
• Hold employees accountable to performance expectations and evaluations.
• Maintain inventory and supplies at each location.
• Correspond with members on location issues, disputes, and charges.
• Investigate member misconduct and complete incident reports.
• Ensure member satisfaction and retention via Qualtrics feedback.
• Ensure fleet condition using Fleetio and brand standards.
• Complete Fleetio tasks: inspections, issues, work orders, inventory.
• Create weekly cleaning and maintenance plan; own a model vessel.
• Submit work orders to Maintenance Operations Center.
• Maintain KPIs: reservations, usage, timesheets.
• Manage operating budget and control costs per location.
• Maintain fuel logs and ensure vessels are fueled regularly.
• Engage with marina managers to promote positive relations.
• Familiarize with waterways and boating destinations; follow safety policies.
• Provide process improvement input to manager.
• Uphold personal appearance and uniform guidelines.
• Oversee safety performance at each location.
• Lead dock staff meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.
