Brunswick Corporation’s Freedom Boat Club is hiring a Dock Experience Manager in Florida. As part of the Freedom Boat Club Operations team, you will lead location-level dock operations, ensuring exceptional member and employee experiences and fleet readiness.

This full-time role requires weekday, weekend, and holiday availability, with responsibilities spanning staffing, scheduling, fleet maintenance, safety, and budgeting across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s or Vocational degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stay composed during high activity periods.
• Strong verbal and written communication and people skills.
• Self-starter and able to work unsupervised.
• Managerial and diplomacy skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise all dock staff to ensure top service across locations.
• Ensure dock staff have proper certifications and up-to-date training.
• Enforce SOPs per dock staff manual, policies, and resources.
• Develop monthly dock staff schedules and approve payroll.
• Travel within the district to support staff and maintain fleet to brand standards.
• Foster a cooperative, positive team environment and engagement.
• Ensure performance evaluations are completed for staff.
• Maintain inventory and supply levels at each location.
• Communicate with members regarding location issues, disputes, or damages.
• Investigate member misconduct and complete incident reports.
• Monitor member satisfaction via Qualtrics feedback and take action.
• Maintain fleet condition using Fleetio and ensure inspections and work orders are done.
• Create weekly cleaning and maintenance schedules and own a model vessel per location.
• Submit work orders to Maintenance Operations Center.
• Track KPIs such as reservations, usage, and timesheets.
• Manage operating budgets and control costs per location.
• Maintain accurate fuel logs and vessel fueling.
• Build relationships with marina managers and harbor masters.
• Familiarize with local waterways and safety policies.
• Provide process improvement input to management.
• Enforce appearance and uniform guidelines.
• Lead dock staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
