Job summary

Brunswick Corporation, including Freedom Boat Club, is seeking a Club Manager to lead a dock staff team, oversee a fleet of vessels, and drive exceptional member experiences. This full-time position requires coordinating schedules, supervising maintenance and safety, and engaging with members across club locations.

You will manage operations on weekdays, weekends and holidays, while maintaining fuel logs, safety SOPs, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school degree
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Background/education check and drug screen
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Desire to perform minor boat maintenance
• Ability to perform physical tasks (up to 25 lbs)
• Ability to read handheld tablets
• Ability to follow safety policies
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and supervise dock staff to ensure safety and high service levels
• Create and monitor a dock staff schedule and assist with payroll
• Review member feedback and take appropriate action
• Adhere to SOPs to ensure service and safety
• Maintain fuel logs and ensure vessels are fueled
• Create weekly cleaning and maintenance schedules for vessels
• Submit work orders and parts using Fleetio
• Communicate with members on dock-related issues
• Investigate incidents and escalate as needed
• Build relationships with marina managers and harbor masters
• Familiarize with local waterways to provide safety information
• Provide process improvement input to management
• Foster a positive, cooperative club culture
