Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert support for DIY customers, manage parts sourcing, and assist in store inventory and service tasks. The role requires knowledge of automotive systems, strong sales ability, and proficiency with store systems and parts lookup.

The position emphasizes safety, accurate inventory handling, and delivering high standards of customer service. Candidates with ASE certification or readiness will be favored.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions
• Strong understanding of parts lookup and inventory systems
• Must have a valid drivers license
• ASE certification preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
