Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro who can support advanced DIY functions with expert store systems knowledge and part knowledge.

The role involves troubleshooting, sourcing from multiple channels, and maintaining inventory and service quality in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in automotive parts, ASE readiness, and strong communication skills to assist customers in-person and by phone.

Qualifications

3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
Valid driver's license required.
ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock.
Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
