Job summary

Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT) is seeking a Divisional Technology Partner for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences to align IT investments with academic priorities and governance. You will lead demand planning, prioritize initiatives, and coordinate cross-divisional solutions to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of five years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Document local FAS technology needs and gather feedback on IT systems and services.
• Manage IT investment intake and align investments with priorities.
• Partner with divisional leadership to align technology investments with academic and operational priorities within governance guardrails.
• Facilitate divisional demand planning and IT roadmap development.
• Coordinate with counterparts across the FAS to identify shared solutions.
• Produce annual report of divisional IT investments and impact.
• Represent divisional perspectives on enterprise applications and platforms.
• Serve as escalation point and triage issues warranting review.
• Prioritize unit needs and resolve issues within budget.
• Diagnose issues and route to appropriate policy, process, or tech teams.
