Job summary

Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, together with Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT), seeks an experienced Divisional Technology Partner to align technology investments with academic priorities and enterprise solutions.

You will lead demand planning, governance, and partnerships across divisions, manage investments, and drive IT initiatives with a strong focus on stakeholder collaboration, budgeting, and change leadership within a complex higher-education setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required and 5+ years in IT leadership or similar roles.
• Experience with governance, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Document local FAS technology needs and gather feedback on IT systems and services.
• Manage IT investment intake and alignment with academic priorities.
• Partner with FAS leadership to prioritize IT initiatives within governance guardrails.
• Facilitate divisional demand planning and IT roadmap development.
• Coordinate with cross-divisional teams to identify shared IT solutions.
• Produce annual report of IT investments and impact.
• Represent divisional perspectives on enterprise applications and platforms.
• Escalate and triage issues; ensure timely resolution.
• Guide budget decisions and resource allocations for IT projects.
• Socialize IT change initiatives and provide trainings as needed.
