Job summary

Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT) seeks an experienced IT professional to partner with Faculty of Arts and Sciences leadership. You will align technology investments with academic priorities and lead demand planning and governance initiatives.

You will oversee portfolio management, cross‑divisional collaboration, and enterprise applications, while triaging issues, guiding organizational change, and supporting effective policy and budget decisions within a complex higher education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Document technology needs and gather feedback.
• Manage IT investment request intake.
• Align technology investments with priorities and fund IT initiatives within governance guardrails.
• Facilitate divisional demand planning and IT roadmap development.
• Coordinate with cross‑divisional counterparts to identify shared solutions.
• Produce annual report of divisional IT investments and impact.
• Represent divisional perspectives on university-wide applications and platforms.
• Triage and escalate issues as needed.
• Prioritize unit needs within budget.
• Diagnose issues across technology, policy, or processes and route accordingly.
