Job summary

Bagel Brands is seeking a District Shift Leader for Wallingford, CT to support bakery operations and prepare for a General Manager role. You’ll lead shifts, train teams, and ensure top quality food while maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

You may travel to other locations in the market to gain experience and will participate in a GM development plan covering P&L, food cost, labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete ServSafe Certification by end of GM development plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market.
• Travel within the market to gain independence and learn from leaders.
• Lead by example, coach and train teams, and ensure high-quality food and beverage.
• Maintain a safe, clean store environment and assist in inventory tracking and cash handling.
